Proposal for a Wedding Painting and Live Guest Portrait Services
Hello Arteya and Marcus,
I am thrilled to be considered to paint for your wedding! I have been giving quite a lot of thought to spinning art throughout your wedding day and confess that I may have gone overboard on ideas!
I attempted to go in order of importance below, according to our phone conversation, starting with a Live Oil Painting for your ceremony or a first look and then Live Guest Portraits for your reception. I added a few sample illustrations to get us started on that conversation, should you want to pursue that.
I hope you find the art experience that will speak to your personal aesthetic taste and provide a joyful, classical experience for your guests. I’m always happy to jump on another phone call to clarify any of the information or talk new ideas.

Wedding Painting
The following prices are for a live oil painting for a first look or ceremony painting
The Wedding Portrait 22”x 28”
The Wedding Portrait will focus on you as the couple, set in the space you like best from your wedding day. We can discuss what you would like in the background, e.g. elements of the museum, your decor, etc. as well as the mood and pose you are striving for.

The Wedding Scene 24”x 30”
The Wedding Scene works well to capture the grandeur of your ceremony or reception spot. Include your family and or wedding party, your curated decor and any element you’d like to remember fondly. This size is very versatile and has the presence to hang on a larger wall or to fill a smaller one.

The Wedding Statement 40”x 30”
This size gives your imagination the space to play and room to tell the story of your day. Include all of the elements of your ceremony that made it characteristically your celebration such as your 20 closest friends, favorite family members, ornate decor, a sweeping view of the plaza or we can make it a grand portrait of just the two of you.
This piece will make a statement in any room. It works well above a mantel, a piano, couch or bed and will keep you coming back to find new details for years to come.

Options for your Live Guest Portraits
These options are priced as an addition to a live oil painting. Please request stand alone pricing if desired.
OPTION 1: Express Portrait Bar for up to 100 guests
- Guests pose for a quick photograph and I paint many portraits at the reception
- An “at capacity” sign is displayed once I take 100 guests’ photos
- Includes “abstract faces” see samples below
- Portraits not finished at the end of your reception will be painted in studio and mailed to you.
- 3 Hours of Live Painting included

OPTION 2: Open Portrait Bar for up to 150 guests
- All of your guests pose for a quick photograph
- An assistant will accompany me which speeds up the process and means more portraits will be finished that night!
- Includes “abstract faces” see samples below
- Those portraits not finished at the end of your reception will be painted in studio and mailed to you in one package.
- 4 Hours of Live Painting included

- Everything from Option 2 + all guests will have detailed faces!

6" x 9" archival watercolor paper, ink and paints
Your chosen color theme as part of the background accent

1 portrait = 1 guest, 1 painting = up to 4 guests

Custom Illustration for Signage
Sample Illustrations to spark some ideas for custom signage, napkins, favors, thank you cards, etc. I’m happy to quote a specific idea. The possibilities are endless! In general, custom illustrations begin at $150 and exact pricing will depend on complexity of the image. I have a local printer we can work with and also some online companies that I know make nice products. I’m happy to go down this road with you with some more direction.
