Jamie Peterson and her team did a beautiful job at my daughter’s wedding this summer painting abstract portraits of our guests. Her portrait bar was attractive and approachable and created a little excitement for our friends and family. It was fun to watch them strike a quick pose and then receive a lovely keepsake of Ellis and Hank’s wedding.

Jamie Peterson is extraordinary. She did a live painting of our wedding reception, which was enormous fun for all of our guests. It was a subtle, elegant and extremely unique form of entertainment. But it was also much more than that. Of all of the images captured that day, Jamie's gorgeous painting is the most enduring. The attention to detail and the sheer magnitude of the work is awe-inspiring. Afterwards, Jamie created fabulous thank-cards fashioned from high quality copies of the painting, and she individually signed each one. Each guest received a "work of art" as well as a lovely remembrance of the day. On top of all of this, Jamie is an absolute dream to work with. She takes care of all of the details. She is perfect and gracious. Having her as part of our day was certainly one of the highlights of our celebration. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

“My guests sent me pictures of their portraits framed on the wall, some made Facebook posts!”
United in Paint was the first vendor I booked for our wedding! I was so excited about this - It gave me the inspiration to do watercolor for our invitations, programs, welcome sign, etc. I could not have been more pleased with United in Paint. They were very professional, communicative, and organized. And oh my gosh, the portraits! I did research on what to do for favors for our wedding guests and most of the people said “Guests usually forget about the favors and leave them there so don’t spend too much money” - let me tell you, that was absolutely not the case for us! We had around 300 guests so Jamie had to do some portraits after the fact and send them out - I had at least 10 people reach out asking when they would be receiving them…it was a quick turnaround! My guests sent me pictures of their portraits framed on the wall, some made Facebook posts! I could not recommend United in Paint more.

Booking Jamie for our live wedding painting was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I am so thankful to have the most beautiful reminder of such a special day. She took the time in advance to plan and make sure she fully understood the vision, making wonderful recommendations along the way. She made sure we felt totally comfortable and confident in the process. She blended into the event seamlessly, and our guests were absolutely blown away at her talent. It was such a fun, unique, and special addition to our wedding. The end result was breathtaking! The accuracy, detail, and overall quality of work left nothing to be desired. She captured everything perfectly, but still offered to make even the tiniest of adjustments until we were completely 100% satisfied. She made it so that whenever I look at our painting, I am taken back to that exact moment in time, which is more than I could’ve ever wanted or expected. Having a live wedding painter at our wedding reception was one of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process, and Jamie was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly easy to work with. My husband and I have been in awe of the painting of our first dance ever since it was first revealed to us, and whenever we look at it, it brings us back to that moment. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Our wedding guests absolutely loved watching Jamie paint throughout the reception. Afterwards, she created thank you card copies of the painting for guests to keep for years to come. We cannot recommend Jamie highly enough!

I had the pleasure of booking Jamie for our company Holiday Party in 2024. Her booking, pricing and scheduling were super easy. She was incredibly responsive and provided multiple options as far as packages for her services. She even worked with me to create a custom stamp for the corner of each of the pictures. I've already reserved her for our 2025 Holiday party and plan to every year from here on out. On the evening of the party, she was fantastic. She was so friendly and allowed everyone to watch her process and the paintings were incredible. They were a really special way to remember our company event. “Fantastic quality painting…”
I wanted a special gift for my husband for our 3 year wedding anniversary. I heard from a friend about Jamie and her amazing talent to capture special moments in the "old masters way"- Oil painting. Jamie was very easy to talk to, she made the process and the picture selection so easy that I had no doubt that it would turn out as something amazing. And oh boy how beautiful it was! I had a hard time waiting to show my husband and surprise him with such a special gift. He loved it as much as I did and today it hangs in our house where everyone can see it and we get a lot of compliments! Every time I look at it, it warms my heart in such way that I do not think a photograph would manage to do. There is just something special, mystical and magical about an oil painting of your own wedding day. Jamie did such a great job and I would recommend her work to anyone who wants to own a unique piece of art that is close to one’s heart.
