With a bespoke design to reflect the show and options to include your branding in the packaging, it’s an enchanting way for your patrons to remember their visit to your theater.

Hi, I’m Jamie

I’m the owner and principal artist at United in Paint. My team and I have been bringing live painting experiences to the wedding and event industry since 2013.

I would love to bring my “Portrait Bar” to your theater and give your guests the opportunity to remember their night with a watercolor portrait. It works like this: we take their order, a quick photo of their party, paint during the show and have some portraits ready at intermission to pick up. Any portraits not finished that night will be mailed directly to the patron.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Our portraits are fast and accurate! Even those without facial features are still recognizable.

    We use high quality supplies and military-grade professionalism.

  • We have painting portraits up and down the east coast. Some of our favorite Columbia locations are the Columbia Museum of Art, the SC State Museum, Central Energy, Harbison Theatre and various Historic Columbia venues.

  • We have worked with local companies such as Midlands Tech, PriceWaterhouse Cooper, Prisma Health, BCBS, The Thumbs Up Guys, Cohn Construction and dozens of brides and grooms.

  • Yes, we are happy to include one element of your branding on our packaging at no cost to you. We will design a portrait to coordinate with your event. If you would like to collaborate on the design, that service is available with a design fee.

  • Our typical turnaround time for our classic portrait is about 7 minutes per person.

    Our detailed portraits take approximately 10 minutes per person.

  • Yes. We offer pre-paid portraits at a lower rate if purchased in bulk.

    We are available to paint at pre-show gatherings as well.

  • Yes! We love to support local businesses and non-profits. We offer discounts for fundraising efforts and have donated portions of sales to Camp Cole, Rosewood Education Fund, Lexington Health Foundation, Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center and the Junior League of Columbia.
